Alexander Shlemenko: “If you troll someone, try to say it the his face”

On February 19 Moscow’s Olympiyskiy Arena will host M-1 Challenge 64. The event will be co-headlined by Alexander Shlemenko and M-1′s ex champion Vyacheslav Vasilevskiy.

Sovsport.ru talked to Storm about his return to M-1 and asked about
his attitude towards jokes about the fighters on Internet.
On his next fight:
- We were contemplating various offers, I can not discuss them. But
M-1 is the strongest promotion of them all. Moreover I loved the
opportunity of fighting on home soil. The choice was obvious.
On his next opponent Vasilevsky:
- He‘s really dangerous. I know he’s a good respectful guy but he
wanted to test himself against me so here we go. Personally I wouldn’t
like to face him but since he wants it, I’m ready.
On fighters’ bashing or trolling on Internet:
- I don’t like haters. Fighters deserve respect. If you can’t tell a
joke in my face, don’t say it via Internet.
On the future plans:
- My contract with Bellator is still valid. I intend to fight at least
twice under the M-1 Global banner then we’ll see. We have always had
friendly relationship with Bellator. Of course the contract I have
with them is exclusive but there is a clause in it: they can let me
fight elsewhere. For the time being I’m free to fight in M-1 Global
and that’s at least enough to participate in Grand Prix.
